Claim
is a claim against the estate of the decedent, including those for
debts of the decedent that arise before or after the death of the
decedent, including the last medical bills and the funeral costs.
The time period during which a claim can be made against the estate
can be shortened from the statutory time limit of one year from
the death of the decedent to two (2) months after actual notice
or the publication of a Notice to Creditors. Actual notice to known
or reasonably ascertainable creditors is required. (See Step 3 of
